Attended Hillsborough High School and after graduation attended the University of Miami where she completed medical school as an OB-Gyn. and where she developed a strong interest in astrology. “I love history. I love learning about history. I’ve always had a scientific mind and growing up knowing I’d do something scientific. I love astronomy, but never thought about it as a career”
Dr. Harris was the first to discover that a star known as U Scorpi has erupted.*
