Welcome to the Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center

Our Mission
To celebrate and preserve the social-cultural and natural history of Sulphur Springs, a community that helped shape Tampa, Florida and Spring Hill, its historically African American neighbor; to educate and empower adults and youth about history, both locally and across the state of Florida while promoting a clean, safe environment for the neighborhood.
Grand Opening 2017
Our new facility opened on February 4, 2017 at Mann-Wagnon Memorial Park as our display debut was the Smithsonian WaterWays Exhibit. Guest speakers Dr. Liz Bird, Reverend Delores Washington, Dr. Antoinette Jackson, Mrs. Chloe Coney, City Councilman Frank Reddick, and County Commissioner Les Miller were present to commemorate the inauguration of the museum.
