Niceville is home to the famous Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival celebrated the third weekend in October. The population was 11,684 at the 2000 census. The 2010 census population for Niceville was 12,749.Niceville is a super safe community with nice schools and a decent variety of places to go to. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Lots of property is on the bay so there is constant nice scenery. Niceville is an excellent place for families.
