Welcome to the Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center

Our Mission
To celebrate and preserve the social-cultural and natural history of Sulphur Springs, a community that helped shape Tampa, Florida and Spring Hill, its historically African American neighbor; to educate and empower adults and youth about history, both locally and across the state of Florida while promoting a clean, safe environment for the neighborhood.
Sulphur Springs Transforming Youth into Leaders
We are an approved Bright Future's volunteer location gladly offering opportunities for students to serve the museum and community through various efforts.

For several years, the Museum has offered programs for the neighborhood youth. The Sulphur Springs Transitioning Youth into Leaders program is made available whenever funding is awarded. We are beyond excited to announce, that this summer we will have a number of teen interns join us in serving the community!

Teens, ages 15-18, work alongside museum staff, assisting with field trips, tours, special events and daily operations. Participants learn new skills while helping the museum's efforts.
