Sulphur Springs Transiting Youth into Leaders (SSTYL)
Approved as a Bright Future volunteer location, Junior Docent Program is a youth development program using science and technology as it related to history and the environment. Will meet only one afternoon a week and have commitment for a Saturday or Sunday as a museum docent. Teen volunteers should be self-motivated, responsible, energetic and upbeat. Positions are limited and are not guaranteed. Applications for special events are accepted year-round. Teens volunteers (ages 15-18) work alongside museum staff, assisting with summer camps and/or special events; serving as floor hosts in the galleries; helping with children’s craft activities during public programs; or researching for various ongoing projects.
Museum volunteers connect the past with the present. Learn how YOU can become involved at this community history museum!
